I find that by spending some time on YouTube, there is so much great music from the past that has been posted, it is easy to find stuff that you may never have heard and really enjoy it!

There's a lot of guitar instrumental music from our favourite era (mid '50's - mid '60's) for instance, that I still haven't heard, even though I have been listening to and playing a lot of that stuff for years- I heard a few online recently- tunes that I had never heard, or heard once years ago and forgot!

There's still a lot of Ventures and Shadows tracks that I've never heard, but many, if not all, of them can be found and enjoyed on YouTube...

It's great- you can still live in the past and not even have to think about new music from the 21st century- or waste your precious time trying to find something enjoyable! :)

And also...try listening to some really early guitar music (much of this is acoustic guitar music however) from the 1920's, '30's, '40's as well as later eras with which we are familiar...
