Thanks for that Walt.  I've bookmarked the link, since this is a recurring complaint of mine even with optimal Fender hardware.

Geez, that's too much for me to read on tuning. I like the TC Electronics tuning pedal that allows me to strum the open guitar strings and tells me instantly which strings are out.
