I've been lucky enough to see the group perform here several years back & NO I didn't see the legendary blues player anywhere around but you never
know.   Be nice to have a photo of him standing next to Nokie.   Anyway, details presently have the band set to go onstage 8:00 PM.   Tickets again can
be purchased at the club box office or thru ticketmaster.  They are $30.   And YES, the group sets up autograph tables right after the show to accomodate
their fans & to chat away.   Any other details you feel might enhance this posting by all means add them.  Time is growing short!

Chords & Tabs / Re: chords for "OUT OF LIMITS" thanks to Bill Kestell
« on: January 06, 2012, 06:30:12 pm »
Thanks for naming the toon correctly and not calling it "Outer Limits" like the Ventures du.  Anyone old enuf 2 remember the Ventures nose what the Outer Limits theme sounds like.  In fact you can heer the Outer Limits theme here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqTfuGasEro

The Outer Limits theme sounds more like the Twilight Zone theme from the Ventures in Spare album.

You'll see the famous Don Wilson armpit photo on the WDR '64 LP cover.

Nothing is said there about pricing/availability.

Not sure WHO "pulled" the trick....King Records released the LP when they took over the catalogue frum Toe Sheba!

Was a goodie tho...had other stuff that was, indeed, rare.

I'm not aware of it being correctly on any current CD.  Only place I've found it intact is on the long-out-of-print Rare Collections for Great Collectors double LP issued back in the 1980's.

In the meantime, here's a version we recorded in 1991: http://wstagner.com/band/1992dvd/2000b.mp3

It was ripped from a DVD copy of a video we recodered and it has a few skips in it, but is better than listening w/o leed geetar.  We really need to rerecord this w/modern tech.
 ;)
