Good Day, Norman

Go to the Ventures web site online store. Under cd's, click new releases, you'll find what you're looking for there. Play guitar with
The Ventures Volume 2. I have it. All parts of the songs on the cd are there, they're all separate. Enjoy.

Thanks Journey Fox, have looked but can't find it on the Ventures web site, can only see
the Hal Leonard playalong, El Cumbancero is not on that one.
Looked on amazon and found playalong ventures volume 2
extortionate price though over £400. Thanks for the info though
I know what to look out for now.

Hi Norman,
You didn't go far enough. The Hal Lenard one is listed separately. Go to online store, then click cd's, then new releases. It's there on
the 2nd page. It's just the cd. Tabs are not included. You can find the tab along many others at Ventures chords & tabs. Good luck.
Keep me posted.

You're welcome Norman. Sometimes, I do the same thing. There's another web site with backing tracks and tabs, but I can't seem
to find it right now. I had it on my favorites, but must have deleted it. If I find it again, I'll let you know. You can play the audio, with
the player they provide and it takes you through the song, with the tabs on the screen. Pretty cool. "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly"
is one of the songs. Not sure which Ventures album that song is from. Anyway, I'll keep searching and let you know when I find it.
Where are you from? I'm in Upper Mich.

Bye for now

Good Morning, Norman

Back again with some interesting news. I found the web site I mentioned. It's "songsterr.com",  check it out and let me know
what you think. I think much of the music is done in "MIDI". I think it can be helpful though.

You're welcome wstagner,

I enjoy talking about The Ventures and anything related. I play guitar okay, but you're very!!! good. Like the way you play
your Hitchhiker. I use a flat pick, haven't been able to use a thumb pick, but I haven't tried to learn how to finger pick enough.
I have some YouTube teaching videos, but I don't practice enough. Always find myself going back to the flat pick to practice.
I guess because I want to get right to learning Ventures songs. Always searching YouTube videos and tab sites. If you know
anyone who plays a Stratocaster and likes to have their bridge floating, have them check out Carl Verheyen's Strat. whammy
bar set up on YouTube. I've tried it, it works, but have discovered I like my bridge flush with the body better. Carl is definitely
a good player. I enjoy watching him also.

Yuup!!! can't see the streets yet because of the snow banks. Suppose to be 42 degrees Friday. Looking forward to being able to walk the
sidewalks again. Snow banks are 6 to 10 feet.  :o :o :o
