Things have certainly come a long way since I used to hook up two old reel to reel recorders and with an early primitive drum machine box, made my own recordings , singing lead vocal, harmonies, and playing lead, rhythm and bass guitars.

I still have the old Fostex  recorder/4 track (analogue cassette tape) mixer unit I bought new for nearly a grand in 1984, which was latest technology at that time- I've seen 'em in pawnshops for about 100 bucks these days!

Yah, I think I sold my F A8/mixer a few years ago for a few hunnerd bux.
There's other software besides the Roland that does this too.....and cheaper from what I unnerstands.
If you search U toob for the Roland software, all the other related s/w appears too.

Only recording I due now is with my Maudio microtrak and hd camcorder.  No time 4 minxing anwy.
