     sorry, i have no links for video performances and all the sound  is on a couple of cassettes from aways back.  very old school around here!  come to GC on friday nights in memphis and you might catch me trying out a possible new guitar or amp!  or just messing about!  gonna hang out awhile here and soak it in!!

 ;Dhi ya'll, new guy here.  i'm an oldtime ventures fan, a surf music fan and have played guitar for 50 years.  i've been in probably 2 dozen bands over the years, have recorded and appeared on TV and radio.  currently playing a Squier VM surf strat thru a fender Mustang III---i keep my rig versitale yet simple, i don't like a lot of pedals dragging along behind me.  i do not keep several guitars around, one is plenty for me.  i am not a tube amp fanatic, they are fine for anyone that likes them; i prefer solidstate.   
Retired from band work 10 years ago, took up too much valuable energy.  looking forward to learning more ventures material, played alot of it in the early days.  see ya'll later!
