Hi Guy. I still use the same Fender 1965 Jazzmaster L serie and also my 1966 Mosrite prototype but now, I get an original 1965 Super reverb amp and he is in restoring process. This amp really sound great. That the amp I play on all our live Joly 2018 videos for The Ventures Story.
check our web page at:        theventurestory.net

Cheers to all,

How To Get that Ventures sound... / Re: How to get a good Ventures sound
« Last post by mustwrite on July 24, 2019, 06:17:42 pm »
In my opinion: 70% of the sound come from the player himself. For sure, an old Fender Jazzmaster of the L Serie and an old febder Super Rever or an Deluxe reverb 1964 to 1966 will help a lots. You have to FEEL IT.
